John Reinert x Brilliant Mistake Wines
John and Stacy Reinert:
What happens when two people meet, fall in love, and also fall in love with wine? Well, they decided to start a winery of course. With a newfound passion for both wine and each other, John and Stacy began their journey.
In 2013, they began with two barrels of cabernet sauvignon. They brought on winemaker Maayan Koschitzky in 2015. He immediately became an integral part of the team – crafting amazing wines. Annual productions steadily increased, and there was the addition of a Sauvignon Blanc to the portfolio.
Brilliant Mistake began to grow its reputation. Strong showings at both the 2017 and 2018 Premiere Napa Valley Wine Auctions solidified Brilliant Mistake Wines’ presence on the world stage.
